I fired my software and let my AI agent built the replacement.
Every tool in your stack is just raw material now, waiting on what you shape it into.

I’m Amos Bar Joseph**, co-founder of Swan, the first Autonomous Business OS. At Swan, we’re building what we call the Autonomous Business: a company that scales to $10M ARR per employee with no bloat, no assembly lines, no Cog Culture. Just humans in their zone of genius, amplified by AI agents.***
I write The Autonomous Age to share contrarian insights from that journey, on GTM, leadership, and the future of work. If you want to understand how GTM evolves beyond playbooks and assembly lines, this is where the story unfolds. Connect with me on Linkedin or X. Claude design is a sh*tty product. I rebuilt it in Lovable for a fraction of what I was paying, and it does things the original can't. Here's how you can do it too.
But first, let me back up for a sec.
I really wanted Claude design to work. it looked like the thing that finally kills the "can you make this deck look good" bottleneck.
I used it for a few weeks. it made me angrier than a PowerPoint text box that refuses to align..
-
I couldn't export a clean PDF, and PPT broke.
-
No link tracking, can't share with prospects.
-
No real collaboration features, it's a solo game.
-
No MCP, so it lives in isolation from all of our agentic workflows
And the worst thing, if you're on the Claude team plan - the mothafuc*a will eat more credits than your most token-heavy tasks.
So I rebuilt the entire thing myself in Lovable in a day.
what I have now is not slightly better. it's a different category.
That rebuild gave my GTM team the best design tool we've ever had.
Today one prompt produces a presentation personalized to a prospect, a one-pager built around their problem, or an entire deal room tailored to their buyer journey.
The game changing move was refusing to use Lovable the normal way.
Everyone opens Lovable to ship an app. We never "shipped" anything..
We actually live in the editor.
We talk to the Lovable agent, the design dashboard stays open on the right - assets, previews, dealrooms, the full library.
So on one side you've got a coding agent that can build/do anything. On the other, the exact interface YOU need to actually use it.
The craziest thing of all?
Swan AI**, our AI GTM Engineer, already has all the context on each prospect and can "talk" to the Lovable agent via the MCP connection.
So we can generate personalized marketing collateral for prospects on autopilot - without even a human in the loop.
it's accelerating deals. it's generating pipeline. it has completely changed how we think about design in GTM.
There's a lesson here. you're not stuck with the tools you're handed anymore.
you can just build the one you actually wanted.
We spent years bending how we work around our tech stack. now the stack bends around us.
Software used to be something you adapt to. now it's material you shape.
If you're interested in the entire playbook, reply and I'll send you the framework of exactly how I built it.

After years of bending your workflow around the tech stack, the stack finally started bending around you, and that reversal, more than the tool itself, is the actual unlock.*
If you could rebuild one tool in your stack this week, which one would you kill first?
Your workflow decides what the stack looks like now, and the only real constraint left is what you're willing to build.
